Am Kurpark

Bad Oeynhausen ist eine Stadt im Kreis Minden im Nordosten von Nordrhein Westfahlen . Die Stadt wurde im 19. Jahrhundert als Kurpark gegründet, nachdem auf ihrem Gebiet eine Thermalquelle erbohrt worden war. In der Folgezeit entwickelte sie sich zu einem Kurort von überregionaler Bedeutung mit einem ursprünglich von P. J. Lenne  gartenarchitektonisch gestaltetem Kurpark. Der Park aus der Gründerzeit bietet ein wunderbare Kulisse zum malen.

Bad Oeynhausen is a town in the district of Minden, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The city was founded in the 19th century as a spa park after a thermal spring was drilled on its territory. In the following years it developed into a health resort of supra-regional importance with a spa park originally designed by P. J. Lenne in terms of garden architecture. The park from the Wilhelminian period offers a wonderful backdrop for painting.

Salute Venezia !

Santa Maria della Salute – Venedig (Aquarell, Rainer Sebald 38x56cm  2018)

Nach langer Zeit besuchte ich wieder einmal Venedig. Obwohl ich schon 12 mal Venedig besucht habe, war ich wieder total überwältigt. Eines meiner Lieblingsmotive ist die Santa Maria della Salute am Canale Grande.

After long time I visited Venice once again. Although I have visited already 12 times Venice I was totally overpowered again. One of my favorite motives is Santa Maria della Salute in the Canale Grande.

Dopo di molto tempo visitai Venezia ancora una volta. Sebbene abbia visitato gia 12 volte Venezia sono stato completamente sopraffatto di nuovo. Uno dei miei moventi preferiti a Santa Maria della Salute in Canale Grande.

 

Industrielandschaft am Rhein

Rainer Sebald „Krefeld Industriegebiet am Rhein“ (Aquarell) 36x58cm (2015)

Die Stadt Krefeld liegt am Niederrhein nordwestlich der Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf und südwestlich anschließend an Duisburg und das Ruhrgebiet in Nordrhein Westfahlen . Krefeld wird aufgrund der Seidenstoffproduktion des 18. und 19. Jahrhunderts auch als „Samt- und Seidenstadt“ bezeichnet. Hier wählte ich einmal als Motiv ein Industriegebiet was für die Region Typisch ist.

The city of Krefeld lies with the Lower Rhine northwesterly of the capital of Dusseldorf and southwest afterwards with Duisburg and the Ruhr area in Nordrhein Westphalia. Krefeld is called on account of the silk material production of the 18th and 19th century also „velvet town and silk town“. Here I chose once as a motive an industrial zone what for the region is typical.

Stein Am Rhein

Stein am Rhein bietet eine reiche Facette von Kultur und Natur. Farbig präsentieren sich die prächtigen Fassaden der alten Häuser .
Eingebettet ist Stadt in eine paradiesische Landschaft, dort wo der Bodensee wieder zum Rhein wird.

Stein am Rhein offers a rich facet of culture and nature. Colourfully the splendid facades of the old houses present themselves.
Town is embedded in a heavenly scenery, there where Lake Constance becomes again the Rhine.

Montagne du Luberon

„Montagne du Luberon“ (Aquarell) 36x58cm (2015)

Die Landschaft des Luberon gehört zu den schönsten  der Provence. Zerklüftete Felsen , wilde Schluchten , karge Gipfel , aber auch üppige Natur wie Wälder , Lavendel- und Weinanbau prägen das Landschaftsbild des Luberon. Malerische Dörfer haben sich an den Hängen angesiedelt. Ein Muss für jeden Landschaftsmaler.

Le paysage de Luberon fait partie des plus beaux de la Provence. Rochers, les gorges sauvages, le sommet, mais aussi la nature luxueuse est parcimonieux comme des forêts, l’annexe de lavande et viticulture caractérisent l’image de paysage de Luberon. Les villages pittoresques se sont établis aux penchants. Le fait de devoir pour chaque peintre de paysage.

The scenery of the Luberon belongs to the nicest ones of the Provence. Cleft rocks, wild gulches, scanty summits , but also luxuriant nature like Woods , lavender and wine cultivation stamp the landscape of the Luberon. Picturesque villages have settled in the slopes. A must for every landscape painter.

Horizonte

Jedes Jahr zur Rapsblüte zieht es mich in die Landschaft des Nordens.Das gelbe Blütenmeer taucht die Landschaft in ein magisches Licht.Das faszinierende bei solchen Landschaften, sie laden zum Träumen ein und lassen der Fantasie freien Lauf.

Like every year to the rape blossom it pulls me the north. The yellow sea of blossom dips the scenery in a magic light. Amusing with such sceneries them invite to the dream and let to the imagination free run.

Salzburg

Der Hohe Weg ist im unteren Teil der Verbindungsweg zwischen Festungs- und Nonnberggasse, im oberen führt er weiter bis zum zweiten Sperrbogen der Festung Hohensalzburg.Von da aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick über die Altstadt.

The Hoher Weg is the connecting way between Festungs- and  Nonnberggasse in the lower part, in the upper one he further leads up to the second locking curve of the Hohensalzburg castle. From there from one has a marvellous look about the Old Town.

Mirabellgarten

 Die barocke Stadt Salzburg mit ihren romantischen Flair bietet eine Vielzahl von Motiven.Der Mirabellgarten ist aber eines der Schönsten überhaupt.Wie eine Bühne ist die Kulisse.Es ist ein Stück in 3 Akten.Im Vordergrund der Garten darüber die Altstadt und der letzte Akt ist die Burg die alles umschließt. The baroque city of Salzburg with their romantic atmosphere offers a huge number of motives. However, the Mirabellgarten is one of the nicest at all. Like a stage is the scenery. It is a piece in 3 acts. In the foreground the garden about that the Old Town and the last act is the castle everything surrounds.

Auf Kokoschkas Spuren

Das Bild zeigt die Aussicht vom Kapuzinerberg auf die Altstadt von Salzburg mit der Burg und dem Untersberg im Hintergrund.Schon Kokschka wählte diesen zauberhaften Blick vom Kapuzinerberg für ein Ölgemälde das 1950 entstand. Über eine Balustrade weg fällt der Blick in die Tiefe auf das Wasser der Salzach. Zwischen Fluss und Berghang liegt die Stadt. In dichtestem Gedränge sieht man die Häuser mit einer Überfülle von Kleinformen, durchfensterten Wandflächen, Dächern und Kaminen. Aus dem Gewirre erheben sich die Kirchen mit ihren Kuppeln und geben mit ihren großen Formen der Stadt das Profil.Am linken Bildrand steigt die Stadt in die Höhe, zuerst zum Nonnberg, dem altehrwürdigen Kloster der Benediktinerinnen, und dann zur Burg der Fürsterzbischöfe, zur Hohensalzburg. Die Burg bildet die Krone der Stadt.

The picture shows the view of the Capuchin’s mountain at the Old Town of Salzburg with the castle and the mountain „Untersberg“ in the background. Already Kokschka chose this enchanting look of the Capuchin’s mountain for an oil painting this in 1950 originated. About a balustrade away the look falls in the depth on the water of the Salzach. Between river and mountain slope lies the town. In the thickest scrum one sees the houses with a profusion of small forms, windows wall surfaces, roofs and chimneys. From the tangle the churches with her domes rise and give by her great forms of the town the profile. Upwards in the left image border the town rises, first to the mountain Nonn, the time-honoured cloister of the Benedictines, and then to the castle of the prince’s archbishops, to the high salt castle. The castle establishes the crown of the town.

Speicherstadt

In der Hamburger Speicherstadt zu malen ist immer wieder etwas besonderes. Eine mystische Stille und Ruhe in der sonst hektischen Großstadt breitet sich vor einem aus. Besonders im Gegenlicht ist das Motiv reizvoll ,da alles auf ein Minimum reduziert wird.

In the Hamburg harbour is to be painted over and over again something special. A mystic silence and rest in the usually hectic city spreads out before. Particularly in the back light the motive is attractive, because everything is reduced to a minimum.
